This was the DVD player’s response when we tried to watch The Reichenbach Fall.

Someone needs to officially confirm Series 3 already.

The actor suggested that making a third series of the BBC detective drama could prove difficult, following the conclusion of Steve Thompson’s ‘The Reichenbach Fall’.
“You might see that it’s quite hard for me to make it back, after the end of the last episode,” he teased at the Television Critics Association (TCA) winter press tour.
So. What if they actually kill him off. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle didn’t do it, and Guy Ritchie didn’t do it, but what if Moffat does? HE WOULD.
Wondering about some Reichenbach things.

What does that even mean, ‘fall’? That’s the real question you want to ask yourself going into this episode. Going out you’ll have a much bigger question.
Things that ‘fall’ could possibly refer to:
- literally falling, as in the original story
- falling into some sort of debilitating illness/coma
- falling in terms of moral standards, such as committing a crime/murder
- falling in terms of professional/personal standards, such as allowing someone (or several people) to be hurt or killed by mistake
- other things I forgot already
Help me out, amazing fandom analyst people. D: I just want to make some kind of educated guess that doesn’t involve extreme emotional pain.
