Welp. I don’t want to go against what she said. >.> Freezing is probably helpful too.

Ice is usually good for treating sprains, bruising, chronic injuries, and overused muscles (like athletic issues). If it’s acute inflammation, ice is good.

Heat is usually for easing strained muscles, loosening tissue, and other things that aren’t related to swelling/inflammation. If it feels like muscle pain, you should try moist heat, like a hot towel.

You can’t go wrong either way, but it won’t help the pain much if it’s strained. If you pick one, try 15 minutes on and 15 minutes off and see what happens. You could always try the other. PLEASE KEEP US POSTED. I WILL PESTER YOU INTO THE GROUND.
